Born in 1990, Wenqing Yan is a Chinese artist living and studying in USA. Wenqing was born in Sichuan, China and lived there for 9 years, then she moved to live in America.

Drawing was Wenqing’s passion all her life but she got more interested into this topic when she was 11 years old. At that time all her classmates were into drawing anime, so she decided to jump on the bandwagon and start drawing constantly. When she is motivated she can draw from six to twelve hours a day. Her favourite tools, however, are Wacom Intuos 4 Tablet and Paint tool SAI, she uses them most. She also works with markers, pencil, ballpoint pen, watercolor, acrylic paint. Wenqing also makes sculptures out of clay. Her pictures are whether anime style or semi-realistic with topics including human corruption or humorous comics. Currently Wenqing Yan studied at Berkley university of California.
