Casa La Punta

Designed by Elías Rizo Arquitectos , Casa La Punta is located in Punta Mita, Nayarit, Mexico. Surrounded by a landscape design that is both intricate and relaxing, the home seems to be a man-made building as well as part of nature.

The project is divided into three modules: the input module contains the service areas as well as a workshop to double height, the main module houses the public and private areas of the house, the third module is an open terrace and very close the sea.

From the entry module – a shaft connector tropical solid wood planks that reaches the sea – it passes by the main module floating on a bed of volcanic rock and finally each module league together. In the main module, the ground floor is an open space where the only constant is the absolute integration to their immediate environment – the outside – there, only the kitchen and living space and a small living space. The upper floor is divided into two parts, the master suite and two suites of visits, they are accessed from a triple double height steps. Another constant is the private open spaces and common usage, a part of the master suite bathroom is outdoors.

Polished concrete, wood Parota, stainless steel elements, natural stones and finally the careful selection of furniture make this beach a dwelling residence only.
