Ayami Kawashima is a Japanese painter from Tokyo. She is a very passionate about what I do. She began learning classical ballet at the age of three, and studied abroad at a notorious art school in Boston as a ballet major from fourteen. She went through a succession of injuries and surgeries, and a particular painting of a ballet dancer that was created during my rehabilitation and led to the admission to Otis college of art and design studied illustration.

“For 10 years I was dreaming about it, for five years I was looking for a spot for it, for two years working on it, for another two years building it, and finally here it is,” said Alexandre de Betak in an interview with T Magazine about his new home located in a small coastal village in the Tramuntana region of Majorca. The girl and the owl

Born in 1982, Shapcott studied illustration for two years before switching to fine arts for the remainder of his studies at Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, graduating in 2007 with a diploma in Fine Arts. Known for his daring color palette and emotionally charged portraits, Michael’s work deals with highly detailed graphite underdrawings which he then paints with colorful washes in oil and acrylic paints. In addition to painting, Shapcott creates art videos that track the process of painting a painting and show his unique style of working.
