Sex in advertising is the use of sexual or erotic imagery in advertising to draw interest to a particular product. This sex appeal is used to increase profit margins for purpose of sale. Usually a pretty woman is used as imagery, typically having no connection to the product being advertised. This type of imagery that may be used is very broad, and would include nudity, cheesecake, and beefcake, even if it is often only suggestively sexual.

On/off, left/right, up/down, start/stop the list goes on and on. We are naturally used to make these action based decisions on a daily basis. Banksy is an England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter. His eye-opening street art combines irreverent dark humour with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. Most people say graffiti is ugly, disruptive, pointless, irresponsible, and childish. All of those allegations are flushed down the toilet, when it’s done properly.

Banksy is a master of doing it properly. Most have a strong opinion about the use of stencils. Other artists swear that it’s incapable, foolish, naive, and senseless. However, Bansky thinks differently. Stencils are good for two reasons, One – they’re quick ; two – they annoy idiots. Apart from his outside artworks, he goes even farther to express his views by creating physical prop pieces (which you will see below.)

An Emblem is an object or a representation that functions as a symbol. Much info can be placed inside the badge/emblem like establishment date, location, address, tag line, and much more. Many businesses use emblems as their permanent logo design. Some logo designers frown upon this, because the lack of simplicity/the argument of visibility when re-sized, while others praise it. The bottom line is that if you attack this task correctly, the outcome should be beautiful.
