Brick and Meat collection is a series of dismembered humans, elegantly adorned with intestines by Smith One. Smithe’s compositional style is disturbing, yet nostalgic. With the use of retro hues and soft coloring, the pieces have a slight nostalgic edge.

The motif of collection falls on self-destruction and the dismemberment from soul, body, wants and needs. The subjects of the violent works are often seen creating their own demise, or at least contented upon guts spilling from varied surfaces. A favorite from the collection is a human face sandwich with an eyeball garnish, gushing ears and dripping eye sockets. Also memorable is the man exploding into bricks.

Smith One is based in Mexico, threading his talent into both the graffiti scene and the music scene as a DJ producer.
