By using the Site, participating in any Site activities, and/or providing us with your personal information, you: (i) consent to the transfer and processing of any information you provide; (ii) acknowledge that U.S. law provides a lower standard of protection for personal data than the laws of various jurisdictions including, but not limited to, the European Union; and (iii) understand that we will treat your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and U.S. law. Consequently, you hereby waive any claims that may arise under the laws and regulations that apply to you in any other jurisdiction.

Personal Information We Collect

Certain visitors to the site choose to interact with Cuded in ways that require Cuded to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Cuded gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up at cuded.com to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Cuded are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Cuded collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Cuded. Cuded does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Non-Personal Information We Collect

Like most websites, the site collects non-personally-identifying information for web browsers and servers, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Cuded’s visitors use the site.

Cuded also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and the users who leave comments on cuded.com. Cuded only discloses logged-in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the site where the comment was left.

Aggregated Statistics

Cuded may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. Cuded may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Cuded does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Cuded discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Cuded’s behalf or to provide services available at Cuded’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Cuded’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Cuded will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Cuded discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Cuded believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Cuded, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of Cuded website and have supplied your email address, Cuded may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with cuded and our products. If you send us a request (for example via email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Cuded takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Cuded uses cookies to help Cuded identify and track visitors, their usage of Cuded website, and their website access preferences. Cuded visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Cuded’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of Cuded’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Our Third-Party Service Providers

Advertising agencies, advertising networks, and other companies may place advertisements on the Site, and on the Internet generally, and may use their own cookies, web beacons, and other technology to collect information about you. We do not control the use of such technology and have no responsibility for the use of such technology to gather information about you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Cuded but does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Several of our service providers who utilize cookies and other tracking technologies on our Site enable you to opt out of their internet-based advertising. Some of our digital advertising service providers are members of the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance, each of which offer a single location to opt-out of certain ad targeting from member companies. To learn more about interest-based advertising generally as well as your options for opting out, please visit Network Advertising Initiative or About Ads. In addition, the Federal Trade Commission provides useful information about online privacy on its own website at FTC Privacy Site. Please keep in mind that even if you opt out of receiving ads tailored to your apparent interests, you will continue to see ads from online advertising networks. However, those networks will not be able to apply any of your apparent ad preferences and the ads that you see therefore may be less relevant to your interests.

Third Party Websites

We may link to third party websites from our own Site. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, these third party websites or their use of your personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites or ads and we are not responsible for the content found on or the actions or privacy practices employed by any other website or app.

The Site may also offer you the ability to interact with social plugins from social media sites, such as Facebook (facebook.com), Twitter (twitter.com), and Pinterest (pinterest.com). The social media sites may receive data when you visit a website that has plugins. In some cases, we may know that you clicked on a social plugin such as a Facebook Like button, or receive other information from the social media sites. Similarly, if you have previously provided personally identifiable information to a third-party operating a plug-in on this website, then this third-party may recognize you on the Site. Your use of social media plugins is subject to each social media site’s privacy policy, which may be different from ours.

We recommend that, if you have a ridiculous amount of free time (and nothing better to do), you review their privacy policies and other agreements governing your use of their website. Once you do, you should report back to us in a detailed and meticulously proofread memorandum explaining all of these websites, so we may immediately put it to use under that corner of the table that is lower than the rest.

California Online Privacy Protection Act

Under Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, California residents that have an existing business relationship with us may request information about our disclosure of certain categories of personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, email us with the subject heading “California Privacy Rights.” In your request, please confirm that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response.

Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the California privacy rights requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. We reserve the right not to respond to requests submitted to addresses other than the email address specified in this section.

We may change or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and the amended version will be posted on the Site in place of the old version. You can identify the date that this Privacy Policy was last updated by looking at the date at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will take effect upon posting to the Site. Use of the Site following posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy then in effect.
