Little Prince by Matej Peljhan

Luka, a 12-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy disease, cannot walk, dress or feed himself, but still manages to use his limited movements and unlimited imagination to sketch on small pieces of paper.

Slovenia photographer Matej Peljhan, who suffered numerous injuries in his childhood, incl. loss of his right arm and an eye, decided to help Luka bring his idea to life in his Little Prince project. He shot backdrop paper laid on the ground, let Luka lying on top, re-use photographic techniques to make vertical effect so that Luka appears to be in motion.
