Optical Illusions by Michael Hughes
Michael Hughes, who works as a freelance photographer in Germany, has created a set of optical illusions in which tacky souvenir replicas of famous landmarks are placed in front of the real thing.
Michael has discovered the technique back in 1998 when he held up a postcard he bought for his daughter on the tourist platform at the Lorelei cliffs next to the river Rhine.
In August, 2008 Michael was featured in National Geographic. Souvenirs goes from strength to strength, with France, Egypt and the UK delivering some nice images.
